Test Foundry

The LMC owns a small foundry where a wide range of aluminium alloys can be produced in small batches.

The test foundry is equipped with an induction melting furnace with a capacity of 300 Kg material and a vertical caster able to produce a wide number of billets.

The installation is of interest for small production series of alloys and special research projects.
